Background
KT has spent her entire life as an artist. Raised in Northern Nevada, as a child KT enjoyed drawing and painting, pulling inspiration from the beautiful landscapes around her. She was awarded a scholarship to the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts, and graduated top in her class with her sights set on pursuing a career in fashion photography.
After five years assisting top photographers in the fashion industry, she found herself craving a bit more autonomy and began her own career as a wedding and editorial photographer. Together with her husband, Chad, KT specializes in destination weddings, wedding and fashion
editorials, and creating fine art images and series. They have photographed celebrations across the globe—from the islands of the Maldives, to the bushtops of the Serengeti, to the rolling hills of the Irish countryside and beyond.
Their shared passion is for wildlife conservation, through their company Render Loyalty, and partnerships with respected conservation organizations, they help protect threatened species from extinction.

The painterly quality of KT's nature-inspired and fashion-oriented portfolio and the extraordinary locations of her shoots instantly caught my attention. Our early morning Yosemite engagement shoot was something magical. KT + Chad's warm personality coupled with their incredible talent made things effortless; Sam and I felt completely at ease as KT's guidance and energy directed the flow of the adventurous shoot. KT was, without a doubt, the perfect photographer for us.

What’s more, my passion for exceptional businesses and helping brands tell their story in a way that leads to growth and success, motivates a storytelling process that is both authentically beautiful and strategically minded.
Working with KT on one editorial wedding feature after the next has given me a first-hand perspective on her personalized creative process. Years of experience has primed her to capture the smaller moments in between—the ones that happen when no one is looking.
